Float flyers not on amphibs DON'T LAND HERE!!!! the lake is drying up and I have been told that the estimated water depth is only a couple of feet. ( I know one guy torn a float open on rocks in 2009 )

Nice Airport , I trained here in 2007 ( yes I know how to use the radio!! , Academy now has a company freq.) also 123.2 is a common freq. in this area of AB with many airports sharing the radio!

Edmonton Airports hasn't invested a lot into the Airport for many years, They are focused elsewhere ( International-CYEG and Villeneuve CZVL)

We went out to check out the facilities at the aerodrome. There were a bunch of miscreants recovering from their party in the parking lot amongst the private hangars and business. Beer cans and underwear (no kidding) strewn all over. I'd be wary if I had a private aircraft out there.

This is a message to the instructors at Cooking Lake: Teach your students how to use the radio properly! Quit yammering on the ATF all damn day. Other people use that frequency, you know!
