I found this site just in time. I had just used Western Union to send money to moganmoree75@gmail.com. I called their Fraud department, and because my money hadn't been picked up yet, they were able to refund me. So ashamed of myself for falling for it!!!

Bernice Moore (b11kmoore @gmail.com) is whom I sent $280 for the two puppies 22 weeks old. The next day I was contacted by Bebah Evaristus Chiabi at 24 Ave New Airport Street Awah in Douala,Cameroon and told that I had to purchase and refundable temperature controlled carrier which we did. Then today this Babah guy emailed me and said that the pet insurance had expired (since Friday afternoon) and we needed to send an additional $820 for new pet insurance for the puppies. I emailed Ms. Moore that we couldn't do this because it was sounding more like a scam every time I got an email. She said that she would check into it. She then emailed me begging me to send the money directly to herby by MoneyGram (To: Ambe Christine Neba at Apt SED new lake street in Ebolowa, Cameroon, 00237. I wrote her back that I was scammed for $590 and no more would be comming.
There is no animal, and there is nothing the airport can do because the scammer isn't at the airport. Block their phone number and their email and ignore them. They may try to contact you with more fake credentials and different email addresses, but keep ignoring them. Nothing good can come out of engaging with these people.
The so Called "airport" people keep calling me and leaving me emails, if I don't send the insurance money. I will go to prison and they will get me for pet abandment. I'm trying to find a number for the airport to talk to an actual person, no number is found.
This lady posted that she had 2 free puppies, all you had to do is send $180 for the transfer of the puppies. Now they are wanting another $670 for insurance in the airport. Is this a scam? Not wanting to send anymore money till I know for sure
this same person posted an add in my local paper in Florida for the same puppy, saying that she and her husband are researchers for victoria east bay botanic garden in kingston. they asked for $180 for air fare fees to the nearest airport. they even gave a contact number +23797966896. their web address is vickymon23@yahoo.com

i had posted on craigslist that i was looking for a husky puppy. a "woman" ? replyed that she was looking for a home for her 14 week husky that she went to cameroon as a voulenteer in the UN Malaria Comitte but she could no longer keep her little angel (Dian) . she said the dog was free but needed to pay $120 to transport her. I almost bought it until i googled her email address. She seemed so convincing . the nerve of some people . I dont see how they sleep at night.
Victorine Monique just sent me the same verbage via email only she says she is in Salt Lake City Utah and asked for $210.00 to have Timmy flown to the closest airport near me. She claimed she lived several cities over from me. Scam - I reported her to ClassifiedAds.com which is the listing sight she is using in Los Angeles.

It's a scam. Go to a reputable breeder in your own country, preferably one where you can go visit the facilities and see that the animals are happy and healthy. You might think it's expensive, but it's way cheaper than what people are getting scammed for, and you'll actually end up with a puppy, not just a lot of promises.
I have never done anything like this before. I saw a puppy at a Hungarian website and made contact with the breeder.

On August 21, 2011 I purchased 2 poms from a Kristal Green in Greenville, Mississippi. (supposed to be) She said she & her husband would luv for me to take both so they wud not be seperated. Cost for transportation $360.00 to airport $400.00 home delivery. For 40.00 more it was worth it, then I get email telling me they needed to b insured 1100.00 (refundable) i like a fool sent it, then they tell me they need shots 1550.00 again I paid. Thinking this was it & they were on there way & wud b delivered again an email telling me I needed to pay for City permit & ownership papers. i did this also. Kristal Green (real name Elmeda Muta) promised on the bible that I would receive the pups. The man delivering them was robbed when he went to get the transportation money so he cudnt come down, then someone else tried to claim the pups. I can write a book about this. I have been scammed out of 9000.00 usd & they are still trying to get more from me. The flight tickets expired, feedings, robbery (of course nothing insured). They spoke of the LORD like true Christians. How can they use GOD so horribly. I may have lost the battle but not the war becuz I have GOD on my side & he will handle them on his time. Right now 2months & some days later they call me & say they have put up all the money but 200.00 usd to get them to me by Skypet. Skypet said they are doing me a favor becuz of Brian at Air France. I am very said that this has happened. They took my kindness for weakness & ran with it. i have never purchased animals over the internet & I believed in these people. So sad! well,I fell for it. I sent $170.00 via money gram. Then was told via an email from world wide shippers that I needed to pay $980.00 for pet insurance. I didn't. The lady I was emailing and texting is Megan. Her email address is meganmelissa98@gmail.com. I read other comments regarding english bulldogs on this sight just now with the same names she gave me but the email address was meganmelissa@yahoo.com. Same person. Shame on me. Hopefully,others will read this sight prior to sending money to Cameroon.It is a scam. Never again.
hi sarah, i dont know if it is to late, but i fell for a scam for sugar gliders from cameroon, and i called the Western Credit Union (which im assuming they asked you to wire money from) and they have a fraud hotline and it allows you to cancel your money transfers. I am lucky i found this site because i cancelled my transfer shortly after. The best of luck :)

Yes, it's a scam. Did you read the other comments in this thread? It's always a scam. If you want a dog, go see a breeder, or go to your local pound.

One of the people in the comments did that, but at the end went and told the scammer everything they were doing wrong, which I think is a big mistake because it will only serve to make the scammers better at scamming.

It's a scam. Go to a reputable breeder in your own country, preferably one where you can go visit the facilities and see that the animals are happy and healthy. You might think it's expensive, but it's way cheaper than what people are getting scammed for, and you'll actually end up with a puppy, not just a lot of promises.
I have never done anything like this before. I saw a puppy at a Hungarian website and made contact with the breeder.
Please read these letters and give me some advice!

One thing you can do is get the word out as much as possible about these scammers so others can be warned.

On August 21, 2011 I purchased 2 poms from a Kristal Green in Greenville, Mississippi. (supposed to be) She said she & her husband would luv for me to take both so they wud not be seperated. Cost for transportation $360.00 to airport $400.00 home delivery. For 40.00 more it was worth it, then I get email telling me they needed to b insured 1100.00 (refundable) i like a fool sent it, then they tell me they need shots 1550.00 again I paid. Thinking this was it & they were on there way & wud b delivered again an email telling me I needed to pay for City permit & ownership papers. i did this also. Kristal Green (real name Elmeda Muta) promised on the bible that I would receive the pups. The man delivering them was robbed when he went to get the transportation money so he cudnt come down, then someone else tried to claim the pups. I can write a book about this. I have been scammed out of 9000.00 usd & they are still trying to get more from me. The flight tickets expired, feedings, robbery (of course nothing insured). They spoke of the LORD like true Christians. How can they use GOD so horribly. I may have lost the battle but not the war becuz I have GOD on my side & he will handle them on his time. Right now 2months & some days later they call me & say they have put up all the money but 200.00 usd to get them to me by Skypet. Skypet said they are doing me a favor becuz of Brian at Air France. I am very said that this has happened. They took my kindness for weakness & ran with it. i have never purchased animals over the internet & I believed in these people. So sad! I can keep writing but i need about 100 pages to tell all. Who can help me with this? i cant let 9000.00 just go out the window.

well,I fell for it. I sent $170.00 via money gram. Then was told via an email from world wide shippers that I needed to pay $980.00 for pet insurance. I didn't. The lady I was emailing and texting is Megan. Her email address is meganmelissa98@gmail.com. I read other comments regarding english bulldogs on this sight just now with the same names she gave me but the email address was meganmelissa@yahoo.com. Same person. Shame on me. Hopefully,others will read this sight prior to sending money to Cameroon.It is a scam. Never again.

hi sarah, i dont know if it is to late, but i fell for a scam for sugar gliders from cameroon, and i called the Western Credit Union (which im assuming they asked you to wire money from) and they have a fraud hotline and it allows you to cancel your money transfers. I am lucky i found this site because i cancelled my transfer shortly after. The best of luck :)

Hola, yo tambien casi caigo en la trampa pero en esta ocasión eran gatitos de la raza Bengalí que este hombre tenia que realojar porque en el nuevo piso donde estaba no podia tenerlos, y claro, me pedia 153 euros por recibir el gatito, gastos de envio. Desde el principio me parecio una estafa así que estuve mandando emails hasta que consegui el nombre con el que recibiría el dinero: Yusibom Valdo.
