General George Patton museum is next to the cafe. If you look closely when flying in you can still see the tank tracks where they trained for North Africa
A simple paved strip adjacent to I-10 just east of Palm Springs. We met a few other Cherokee drivers there for a burger. Decent little cafe, good burger/shake.
