Hi folks...I am in the process of gathering information about the US military activities on Penrhy and Aitutaki during WWII. I am searching the National Archives files and should have some information at the end of the month which I'll be glad to share with anyone interested...
Do you have any information regarding the role of the Island of Tongareva during World War II? My Father was stationed there in 1942 or 43 to 1944. He helped to build a radar tower as part of his assigned duties. Thanks for any information you can provide.
