the work like airport developement, acquiring land for railways wagaon repair factory, setting up a textile park in the sez,completing the highly delayed amravati narkhed line,proper developement of amravati sez,completing the remaing 4 laning or amravati talegaon section of NH-6,constructing a dam on Tapi River in dharni taluq of amravati district are still pending,this raises the question about the provision of funds by the government for vidhrbha developement and amravati region, there are problems like child deaths in dharni and chikhaldara taluq of amravati district due to mall nutrition, and suicide of farmers in amravati,akola,yavatmal,buldhana,wardha,chandrapur etc districts of vidharbha due to lack of facilities for irrigation and less rates to their crops such as cotton. government must think of vidhrbha with a very high priority of developing it's backlog otherwise the people will be jobless,moneyless and will die due to poverty.
