Reply to @flying.Dutchman: do you or do you know anyone (or a website I might go to) who might be interested in flying my hubbie and I down (and back)to Seattle (NHRA NATIONALS) this Friday? We are attempting this last minute and heard sometimes pilots want fuel money and do this.....any chances you might be able to assist us? We are in Duncan area and would go almost anywhere on Vancouver Island to make this happen. We are thinking of leaving either Thursday early evening and returning Friday evening or leaving Friday early morning and returning Friday evening or Saturday morning...we have a committment Saturday afternoon.
