New owners with big plans!!

Has been a firestorm in the local papers lately so I flew in for a look last week.

They have already rebuilt the pilots lounge very nicely and slowly filling in to pave 34/16 (with GPS approach!) but like almost everywhere, people move near an airport and then hassle it when they try to expand. I think they now have a full time groundskeeper because the field seems very well-kept. (unlike a couple of previous visits last year that had overflowing garbage cans blowing junk everywhere and very unmowed grass)

With the closure of Buttonville on the horizon, there is alot of potential for this little airport. (now if they could only buy a couple adjacent farms and expand >3000 ft)

I hope you overcome the (few) locals who try to deny the rest of the world progress and prosperity and make Greenbank a travel destination and gateway to Port Perry and the Kawarthas
