Comment thread "Just north is the Beach Boys Monument" for Jack Northrop Field Hawthorne Municipal Airport

Two blocks north of the airport is the Beach Boys Monument. Leaving the Millionaire FBO at the east end of the airport, turn left (north) on Crenshaw, walk the half block to 120th St., cross it and turn left. Pass the freeway entrance ramp and turn right (north) on Kornblum Ave. The monument, on the site of the Beach Boys' childhood home, is two blocks up, where Kornblum ends at the freeway, 3701 W. 119th St., Hawthorne, CA.
