As I was surfing the net, I was totally shocked by reading this. I am sorry for what happened. I am a new officer of BI Intramuros. Should you gave me your contact number or e-mail so we can talk in private. You can visit me at our office 2nd floor, room 4, located in intramuros. Look for Ynah.
I hope this could be settled asap.

Hope this can help, All Philippine Consulates in Asia offer a service to provide...Duly Notarized Letter of Invitation (Affidavit of Invitation) from a Sponsor Abroad..
Even with all the documents that you supplied, the person leaving PI may or may not get stopped by immigration.
Take a look at the Philippine Consulate for Malaysia - look under consulate services - h---://---.philembassykl.org.my/
wala naman dapat ika shock na mga balitang to ksi its been so long..mga BI n kla mo cla ang may krapatan mag decide if your able to go or not..what the shame nahihiya aq bilang kapwa Filipino ang mga walang modong IO ng DMIA at NAIA insecure lng mga yan kasi nila carry mag tourist in other country..kunsabay panu susunod ang mga damuhong yan eh kung mismong si de lima eh d sumusunod eh lalo n ang mga walang kwentang IO n yan u know sana punta aq ng SG to meet my bf pero hinold aq jan ang msama p without my knowledge pinpasuk aq s office at pinicturan without telling me anything then after few days my bf bought a tiket again then a stupid IO told me that im being in a wacthlist what a joke..
My cousin is planning to go to singapore to tour the place. My mother who happens to be there is her sponsor and thus they have sent here an invitation to stop unnecessary questions from the immigration. But they still offloaded her. Kesyo DH daw xa nan naghahanap ng trabaho sa singapore at recruiter daw niya ang mama ko. At ang IO pa na yan ang may ganang sumigaw. RN ang pinsan ko for goodness sake. At ang masama pa nito, they did it twice. Eh kumpleto naman na ung papers na hinihingi ng immigration!@!!! Mga walang hya.
Good to find this kind of blog here.. Anyway, is this really how our BI officers act??I've been also humiliated in front of many people at the airport. Can somebody tell me how to get a passport confiscated by BI?? And is it really normal that they give temporary receipt without the passenger's name and his passport number at least??..parang hukos pukos kasi...padulas ba hinihingi nila??...
Just wondering what happened to this case. Please make an update so we, frequent travelers will be wary of what to expect and what to do when we encounter things like this. The BI's are not the DFA's and I suppose they do not have the authority to confiscate the passport, more so to tear the passport.
Mr. Dizon can you e mail me the requirements so we won't stop at your badly image airport?

Thank you
what the hell...filipino immigrant officers...shame on you...!!!!!
i was shocked when i find this on the internet. Officer Michael Vincent Dizon in Diosdado Macapagal Airport, this guy? So goodluck to everyone! Can we not fund our travel? I have a roundtrip ticket to KL then KL t PHuket and i have a hotel booking with Marriott Phuket and presented everything they asked me the first time. I have cried my hearts out because Airasia tickets are non-refundable/non-rebookable/non-transferable. well who does this days? I was denied boarding Sunday, Sept 23rd because i lack marriage certificate and only showed them my email confirmation from Marriott. What can i do? So, i cried and composed myself and rebook another Airasia leaving on Tuesday, Sep 25. I supplied the original marriage certificate (of which i have to spend P6K to be delivered personally to me from CDO to Clark because of so little time available). 2nd, I printed my email confirmation from Marriott that i will be staying there until October 20th, 2012. third, i even printed my $973 USD balance in Paypal to support that i can finance my travel and also showed them my roundtrip fare from Airasia that Clark-KL; KL-Phuket; Phuket-Clark on Oct 20th. So, i am now nervously on Tuesday, SEp 25th, new booking from Airasia, CLark-KL-Phuket. I have initially lost 20K flight on Sunday. So, i cannot afford to lose this flight. Presented all the documents. Was intercepted by this Gangnam style look alike BI Michael VIncent DIzon, how can i forget the name? ASking me a lot of questions, and now he want me to provide another set of documents, certification from current employer, hotel booking containing proof of payment! Hello? We are already on the computer age. Online confirmation is enough! He wanted me to provide receipt of payment and credit card used. Someone did it for me using his CC and just paid him in cash. I didn't feel it is necessary. Plus CC is very delicate. You cannot just give anyone those information! For the second time, i cried and cried in Diosdado Macapagal Airport. He is just inside laughing and joking with his colleagues when i was bz refunding my terminal fee and travel tax and i cannot help thinking how could i recover over 40,000 non-refundable airfare with Airasia!
It's sad because he is a co-Filipino. And i am not even going to KL or Phuket to work. Honestly, i just want to travel. Been dreaming of having to go to Phuket. But now, how could i do so? Airlines do not refund tickets for offload passengers!
Mr Dizon you are a shame to the Filipinos! Can we not travel? Can we not finance our own travel? Are you even thinking even for a bit, how to recover all those losses? Or maybe i am stupid enough to understand that you need BRIBE? You are constantly looking at the back and front of my passport and even photocopied all my certificates! You even question my old passport picture on my passport asking if it's really me!
Well KARMA has it's own course! I wish you are ready when you get yours!
You are totally totally a shame to all of us!

This morning, I have experienced the worst nightmare in flying abroad. I'd been travelling in and out of the country (our native land - Philippines) as an OFW since May 1986 and I never experienced what this DMIA BI Officer Mr. Michael Dizon did with my passport. Mr Dizon broke my passport into two piece on suspicion that my passport was tampered. Do this BI Immigration has the capacity to break the passport based on their suspicion? They did not even allow me to have my passport instead issue me a receipt that they confiscate my passport for validation or verification. The passport was the latest Digital Passport that DFA issued to all Filipino who wishes to work abroad or visits countries outside Philippine territory.
Today 10October2011, is my flight to go to Singapore as a Tourist or on pleasure trip.
I just used my passport to go to Azerbaijan last June 2010 to work as an OFW under Salini Costrutti company. Eventually when I was in Azerbaijan... Salini want me to work in the company's project in Ukraine and arrange me a Ukraine Visa. As per contract I have no choice but go to Ukraine. But because of the weather condition in Ukraine (that reached -36deg-cent) during the winter I decided to resign my job and goes back to Philippine last Sept 28 2011.
A friend of mine learned what happened, and invited to visit Singapore to take a break that I agree and I booked flights to Singapore (round trip for 3weeks stay in Singapore). And today I was supposed to leave and this incident happened. I was really shocked... if only I knew that this officer will tore down my passport to two piece... hindi na sana ako tumuloy...
Mr. Dizon does not seems to realize how hard to get a passport these days... If he really have suspicion that my passport was tampered he can just easily call DFA-Clark to validate or verify this passport that was just recently used abroad...or simply send it to DFA untouched.
Id been seeking government offices that can help me with this incident and hope I can find someone who can really help me to stop these inhumane act of BI officers, not to mention that I am a native of this country and been an OFW since 1986 of no bad records at all...
