The photo is correct as are some of the comments. I was flying my RV8 for the first time on delivery from Parafield and it is true that the data in my EFIS was off in Port Phillip Bay. I have my RV8 hangared at Romsey. TO orientate yourself be sure to identify the Defence Vehicle Proving grounds. It is north and adjacent. Coordinates are: S37 23 30.00 and E144 44 18.00. Frequency: 126.7 Elev: 1500

Don't confuse Romsey with Riddell/Penfield. This is why you are finding difficulty. There are about a dozen landing areas in close proximity.

Reply to @david: Yeah, I made some sort of paste error when I saw the subdivision.
Reply to @ptomblin: that's the same location I found in the Australian AIP (you just have to make the latitude negative).
Reply to @david: My Eurocontrol data gives the lat/long as 37.391667 | 144.738333, but I don't see anything there except a subdivision.
